PALMER DAVIS

 

FITNESS COACH

Palmer is a NASM certified nutrition and fitness coach. She started teaching group fitness in 1987 at Nautilus Aerobics Plus with high/low impact aerobics, step, kick boxing, spinning and sculpt classes. Palmer then ventured into the private boutique clubs and LA Fitness. Certified in Corrective Exercise and Senior Fitness, Palmer has instructed Chair Dance and Movement at the LA Jewish home for over 8 years. Palmer maintains a short list of private clients whom she trains online and in the comfort of their home. Palmer is not shy to admit her age,(born in 1968), and is dedicated to helping women get through what can be the best years of their life.

PERFORMER

From the lines of the Radio City Rockettes to the television sets of Los Angeles, Palmer has worked in almost every venue imaginable. Palmer starred in the dance film “Stepping High” (Available on Amazon.) Palmer performs her critically acclaimed solo show “Suburban Showgirl” across the United States, has recurred as defense attorney on CSI Las Vegas for over 10 seasons and guest starred in several television shows, films and commercials. Palmer toured in the 1st National tour of The Will Roger's Follies and performed in dozens of local and regional musicals.

A graduate of UCLA Palmer majored in Dance, minored in Spanish. She has choreographed for film, commercials, industrials and over 30 musicals for school, Community theatres and Theatre Camps.

 

CHILDREN'S THEATRE

Palmer created and continues to teach her Theatre Works Kids after school enrichment program at St Cyril of Jerusalem in Encino and gives master dance workshops in LA and abroad.

Palmer has directed summer camp shows at the Discovery Onstage in Burbank, Theatricals Art Camp in North Hollywood and was a special guest teacher at MAT Camp in Evanston Wyoming. Palmer is a mother of two children who have benefited from having arts and theatre in their lives.  Her daughter is currently majoring in Animal Science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and son is majoring in International Affairs @ United States Military Academy at West Point.  (Yes, she is very proud:)

Palmer's mission is to bring families and communities together through dance and the arts.
